Welfare Cycle and Living in Poverty Ends Here

Homelessness among young people is a serious issue. Homeless youths, sometimes referred to as unaccompanied youths, are individuals who lack parental, foster, or institutional care. At Mothers Beneath My Wings, we are looking for givers like you to help open new doors to at-risk, homeless youth and teenage mothers with children.

We aim to provide food, clothing, shelter, medical attention, educational and vocational training, and counseling to youths who have no homes or nowhere to turn to for help. We provide services to all individuals regardless of their religious backgrounds of beliefs.

We Help Youths Live Independently

Every Child Needs a Place They Can Call Home

A child’s brain develops rapidly during the first five years of life, especially in the first three years, and this is when a child becomes the person they are going to be.

Research shows that we have over 3,000 homeless youth in the Chicago Metro Areas. No child should have to live on the streets in our city, and communities. We aim to provide support programs and resources to help end youth and young adult homelessness and poverty.

Outreach Program

The program collaborates with other human social service agencies, local colleges, universities, churches, employers or organizations that feel obligated to employ homeless youth.

Through this program,, we collaborate with local landlords and a variety of housing programs to ensure that we have the resources necessary to help each child and youth meet his or her goals, live an independent life with a positive mindset for success, and give back to their communities.
